The journey into this basement begins with a fresh, modern entrance. We swapped out the old staircase for a fresh design that immediately elevates the space. To keep things looking clean and streamlined, we added hidden closet doors that offer practical storage without disrupting the aesthetic.

Custom floating shelves with integrated LED lighting give our clients the perfect spot to show off their impressive LEGO collection—because why not turn a hobby into a design feature?
One of the standout features of this basement remodel is the custom glass back shelves, designed with both function and aesthetics in mind. The idea behind the shelves was to bring in natural light from the nearby door and window in the TV room while enhancing privacy and soundproofing between the spaces.
The HVAC system is designed to operate quietly, ensuring a peaceful environment. The light switch, integrated with the home’s smart system, features a Lumens toggle switch that allows for easy dimming of the lights, adding both functionality and modern convenience. Our client had specific requirements for both, and we worked diligently to bring them to life.
One of the standout features of the entrance is the use of York Wallcoverings Threaded Silk Wallpaper. This stunning design brings a touch of luxury to the basement, with a unique, tactile texture that enhances the space and sets the tone for the rest of the interior.

To elevate the space, we installed The Wood Veneer Hub Luxury American Oak Acoustic Slat Wall Panels. These sound-absorbing panels not only provide a warm, natural look but also ensure the space is acoustically optimized. We were also mindful of soundproofing throughout the remodel to reduce noise travel between floors, creating a quieter, more comfortable environment.
For the flooring, we chose COREtec Premium Blonde Oak Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Flooring. Designed to mimic the look of hardwood, this water-resistant and scratch-resistant flooring gave our clients peace of mind after the water damage and serves as a proactive solution for high-traffic areas—particularly for individuals coming from the pool into the basement.
