First stop was the kitchen, the beating heart of any home, and especially this one. By knocking down walls and extending the space, we doubled down with two islands, optimizing both work and social zones, essentially enhancing functionality while optimizing space. The choice of sleek, modern appliances like the JennAir Column Refrigerator and the Wolf Natural Gas Burner complements the Kuzco Lighting Vega Linear Pendant, creating an atmosphere of sophisticated urbanity and refined city living.

Living Room
Out with the old staircase, in with the new openness (and storage). Here, we crafted a space that's as ideal for lively gatherings as it is for quiet moments, proving that yes, you can have it all. The living room’s got a total glow-up—spacious yet snug, making it the perfect backdrop for her to zone out or vibe out, whatever the mood. We used the high ceilings to our advantage to draw attention to our personal favorite – the modern 5-Light Pendant by Kuzco Lighting.

Primary Bathroom
In the primary bathroom, we've taken cues from the luxurious, spa-like bathrooms found in upscale city apartments. Out went the oversized, built-in tub, making room for a spacious, glass-enclosed shower—a choice that not only modernizes the space but also visually enlarges it. The addition of a double floating vanity was crucial, providing ample storage while maintaining a sleek, clean appearance that enhances the room's modern vibe.

We chose Wynnbrooke Walnut Slab for the wood elements, bringing warmth and elegance to the space. For the countertops, we selected 12x24 Blanco Polish Statuary II New White/Bright marble, known for its luxurious feel and durability. The shower floor features 2” Hex Ancient Sky Porcelain Tile, adding an intricate texture and a unique touch to the overall design.

Midnight Coffee Bar - Because Why Not?
For the midnight coffee bar, we forgot all the rules... Because, why not? When it's coffee o'clock, it's coffee o'clock. The quirky decision to convert a closet into a midnight coffee bar was as simple as it gets: Our client loves coffee and wants her house to be practical for her! Life's too short for coffee-less closets.
