Denny began his construction career in 1979 after completing a two year trade school program in carpentry. He represented his school and the State of Virginia at the national level through the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America. His first full time job was working for a new home builder in Winchester, Virginia. In 1985 Denny made the switch to renovation remodeling, working the last 20 plus years in the Northern Virginia area as a project manager with T.W. Wallace Construction.

He enjoys sharing his talents and expertise by participating and leading volunteer disaster relief teams with his wonderful wife, Kathy. He has two daughters and two grandsons.
