A CASE STUDY ON HOW THIS PROJECT CAME TO LIFE
Daydreaming
This Arlington client wanted an open concept floor plan designed for entertainment. We developed a brand new first floor layout and two-story addition on the back of the home, allowing for a larger primary suite and custom screen porch.
First Floor
We designed an open concept first floor plan allowing for a seamless transition between rooms. The kitchen features a stunning island, offering more seating for guests and prep space. The pantry may just be our favorite detail – which we created by repurposing an old powder room.
Primary Suite
Building a two story addition allowed our couple to enjoy a larger primary suite complete with primary bathroom. Our client wanted a space that felt separated from the rest of the home, a place to rest and recharge. We chose a calming balance of navy and minimal colors, and installed large windows for the couple to enjoy their beautiful yard.

Screen Porch
The new screen porch is the best spot to host, featuring a stunning stone fireplace.
Exterior
For the exterior, we designed a new deck that connects to the screen porch and leads to the back yard. The grey exterior with white trim pairs well with the interior of the home.
